Following Jes Pedersen’s promotion to CEO, the executive team sought out to develop Webcor’s core values – a set of fundamental beliefs that could guide the organization for years to come. The process of establishing Webcor’s core values took over a year and consisted of widespread participation from all parts of the company.
“This wasn’t something we wanted to do on the fly,” notes Jes. “We wanted to do this right and ensure these core values could stand the test of the time.”
After numerous surveys, discussion groups, and meetings with employees, Webcor announced our core values in 2014: Bold, Community, Innovate, Trust, and Craft.
Over 6 years after their establishment, our core values still epitomize the culture of Webcor today.
“Our core values are not a jingle,” says Jes. “It’s a baseline for everything we do and a direct reflection the high caliber of employees within our organization.”
